Just a painting of a Fork

Hooray college painting classes! What's the first assignment? Oh, you know, no biggie, we just had to do a photo-real painting. We had to take a basic object with a boring background and a single light source and take a photo of it, then we had to duplicate the photo exactly. Hooray! Fork! We also had to keep track of our hours spent on the painting and I clocked in at around 20 hours on this sucker. This was my first time using oil paints that weren't water washable and it was definitely a new experience.
