My Bio
My name is Richelle Hyer. I have taken art classes at BYU-Idaho, and have earned my Graphic Design Certificate from South Puget Sound Community College. I specialize in painting landscapes and I generally stick to acrylic paints and ocassionally oil paints. I like to dabble in a lot of different mediums, though, so my gallery has a wide variety of digital art, colored pencil work, and other various mediums.
I will point out that this deviantart page is really old. As such, the further back you go, the worse the drawings get. I've put most of my old stuff in my scraps section, and I'm sure that as my skill level continues to improve, more will be sent there. Just keep that in mind that there is an age and skill-level gap between my latest work and what was posted when I was in middle school.

Going on a Mission

Hey, everyone. I thought I'd give you all an update before I disappear off the face of the planet. I'm going to be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I will not be able to paint anything while I am out there, though I will have a sketchbook with me. I also won't have access to a computer. So don't expect any updates from me until I return. I'm leaving on June 17th 2013 and will return somewhere around mid December 2014, and most likely won't resume my activities on deviantart until January 2015. So don't be sad that there will be no new paintings until then, and don't be sad if I don't respond to any of you

Frustrated

Alright, I really don't like ranting about things usually, but I really need to just vent for a second. The good thing is that I know that not many of you (if any at all) will even see this journal (if past experience is anything to go by.) So I am feeling rather frustrated at my own apparent lack of skill. This is probably something that any artist goes through at some point in their life, but it's more than that. See, I have many people who see my drawings or paintings and express how wonderful of an artist I am. And yet how many paintings have I sold? None. How many views do I get regularly? A few. If any. So coincidentally, your last FloweyTale chapter came out on my birthday, how's that progressing?
uhhhhhh..... >.> I'm stuck. I wrote a thing and didn't like it... And that's about all I've done... I'm sorry! Life has been busy. I've been going to college, I got married, etc. It's been crazy and FloweyTale got stuffed on the backburner. I should have more time now (I just got back from my honeymoon), but I'm honestly not 100% sure how I want this chapter to go. This is my last chapter, so I want it to be good, but so far what I have is Flowey being angry and depressed and that's about it. Not really good material for a full chapter. So, to answer your question, hopefully I'll be able to work on it more soon. Sorry for the long wait. Thanks for reading my story and for checking in on me!
Ah darn. Sorry, didn't know you had all this major stuff happening in your life. But I'm glad you eventally responded. Though if your looking for inspiration, I was wondering when reading it if the story would cross into the main one of Undertale, how this interpretation of Flowey would react to seeing a human enter the underground.
I thought about going into the main story of Undertale, but if I did, it would be in a seperate story. My main focus for FloweyTale was on the backstory of Flowey. This chapter (and the story) is going to end when the human falls into the underground. I'll get the chapter finished when I can. Thank you again for your support!
